I'm wondering if Jaimo & Nestor about beginning to feel the 'strain' of all the innings they've pitched so far - first you've had the two COVID shortened years and then the lockout shortened ST - though the Yankees continued to slowly stretch them out in the early games the innings are building up - and they haven't been worked this hard in really three years. Jaimo is a 'medical marvel' that he is even pitching and the reconstructive ankle surgery last post season.Could be they just need to "recharge the arm batteries"- I remember pitchers used to go through a period during the season they referred to as the dead arm. Hopefully is that simple and both will be rejuvenated after the AS break.
