5 is the big thing - Dodgers draft low too but seem to maintain their minor league system. We had a great minor league develoipment - since Judge, Sanchez, Severino, & that group have come up what happened to restocking. We had depth in minor league pitching but even that has fallen short.
Run the bases & poor pitch selection (both for pitchers ie Chapman this afternoon & the batters swinging out of the zone), sloppy D that falls on the players,. They are all talented players & professionals - we've seen them in previous seasons. What has happened/gone wrong in 2021 I have no idea - it's still on the players who are committing these mental errors. The analytic crew needs to go -wonder if it's the same team from 2015/16/17
