KC doesn't have the strongest line up anymore these days, but CC hit 94 on the radar gun last night. Will that happen every start from here on out? Probably not, but it's nice to see that we may get a quality start from him every once in awhile.

Hopefully Justin Sheffield (from the Andrew Miller trade) is the real deal, and that Kaprilian can get his injuries woes straightened out by 2019.. We NEED starting pitching!!!

With Chappie out for at least a month, Bird having more set backs on his injured , Tanaka pitching like that elbow ligament is about to give out. Wee could be in for a little tail spin before the All-Star break. Fortunately, our schedule is mostly against teams under .500 for awhile.

They cancelled today's game already, and made tomorrow a single admission doubleheader starting at 2:00pm. Jeter's ceremony will be sandwiched in between.

Quotetoga FYI we didn't load the bases in 7th - Gardy got as far as 2nd- with one out. Bases were loaded with two outs in the 6th & Torres grounded out 6-4 for the 3rd out. My bad. It was the 6th inning, not 7th.

That's the price you have to pay at times to haul in the big time free agent players, and CC Sabathia was exactly that. A key player the Yankees simply could not do without going into the 2009 season. Starting pitching was a huge problem at that time. One bad 2nd inning was the difference tonight... I'm more frustrated with the 7th inning bases loaded and nobody out GOOSE EGG than CC's performance. If it wasn't for CC, the 2009 World Series Championship would not exist, and that's why I can't harp on his last few seasons. He's always been a work horse and innings eater when healthy. 10 runs scored, Tanaka goes seven innings, and Chapman & Betances never pick up a baseball tonight. Just hope Headley's knee is ok after that HBP.
