I know it’s only spring training, but the team can’t get used to giving up leads in the ninth. It just plain sucks!

But it goes to show the difference in the two team’s minor league organisations. Can’t believe our minor league pitchers gave up 8 runs in the top of the 9th. To turn a laugher into a a sob story. So glad the season is starting in a few days so we don’t have to sit through any more torture like today.

All these injuries HAVE to speak of our training department, OR lack of! I haven’t heard of any other team’s starting rotation going through what we’re going through.

We are just so snake bitten with our star players, compared to other teams out there. It’s downright unbelievable.

Yeah, that’s what I’d do, you got enough younger guys willing to fill his spot. I feel sorry for the guy, but you can’t keep pushing your body if it won’t respond.

I’m about an hour’s drive on a good day. My daughter used to live down there too, for about 8 yrs, before she moved to Oahu, Hawaii. But when her & her husband separated, she moved to Estes Park, Colorado near the Rocky Mountains. Talk about climate change!

I take that back, they are located in Los Angeles, I’m more south, near to San Diego about an hour’s drive away. I looked them up on Google.

Agree, and most of the guys avoided season long slumps because their timing wasn’t interrupted by having to sit on the bench for 2 days. That’s what the off season is for.

It will definitely help Judge, as they’ve been calling outside and high pitches strikes on him for years, just because of his height. I hope the umpire’s union takes notice of how crappy their umps have been calling some games.

I love the selection, though I’m sure Anthony Volpe’s not too thrilled, since he himself is getting his career barely started with the Yanks. Who knows, maybe down the line they’ll switch Volpe to another position. We’ll have to wait and see. Maybe it’ll light a fire under his butt to try and revert back to his year one performance.

I’d say that’s planning for the future, when you can’t play as well, but you get payed like you are. That’s why most teams don’t want to do this, except for the Dodgers, that is.

I don’t know why Japan all of a sudden became the Mecca for mlb players. What ever happened to the Dominican Republic, Korea, China, Cuba, even Australia that’s on the other side of the world? Why is Japan the minor league’s specialist for players? I’m sure there are players from around the world that can play great baseball.
