Lets hope he stays healthy. Although with our bullpen, no need to have him pitch 200+ innings. 160 like he had for Seattle last year and healthy come October 2019 will do just fine.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
It's looking like LA Dodgers are no match for this Red Sox team. As a Yankee fan you have tip your cap to them and hopefully Yankee brass will see why this team is successful. It is not about bat speed, exit velocity and all the other data fad analogy driven study you can think of. It is hitting the ball with two strikes and/or runners in scoring position. manufacturing runs any way you can. Yesby LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Great video, interesting. Wondering if the public knows why don't the Astros complaint to the MLB?...thanks for the link Hitman.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Dittos to all the comments made regarding Machado. Didn't take the NLCS for me to know the type of player he was. Didi has shown a lot of class, has produced, albeit inconsistent at times and good with the glove. He lessen the pain of the transition of this team without Jeter. That to me said a lot about his character, something Machado lacks. Yankees have enough talent to fill in the gap while hby LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I am probably going to sound strange or in the minority camp on this, but sometimes less is more. And I mean not just graphics and stats but announcers talking as well.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I was not aware of that. Good info. Still I would love to see pitching being addressed first if we are going to spend that kind of money. Go with Torres at SS if we have to until Didi gets back or see what his progress is and possibly make a move if needed before trade deadline 2019.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Dittos on those sentiments. Well said.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Thank you......plan to stop buy as often as possible. best thing I have noticed in the few days since joining is civility compared to other boards I used to go to.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Thanks everyone for the welcoming comments. Looking forward to participating as much as I can and filling the void of not seeing the Yankees play during the offseason. It will be an interesting Hot Stove Season for us this year and I think we are going to be much better in 2019.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I support the idea of bringing Happ back over CC to bridge the gap with younger pitchers coming up. He has the same type of veteran stability needed and still has a lot of innings left in his arm, but Yanks will need to get creative financially, because I am not sure Happ will accept one year deal, and doubtful he will take 2.by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Thanks....hoping to learn and share opinions with other Yankee and baseball fans.......in a civilized manner !!!!by LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
New to this board, hopefully this will post accurately. Not only was the leash too long for the pitching side, but too long for the hitting side as well. Not sure why he left Stanton in the 4th slot for all games. Of the 60 runners LOB by the Yankees in this series, Stanton was responsible for 15 of them, that's a whopping 25% of all runners, including 3 important ones in the 9th inning of the laby LLYANK56 - TheYankeesBoard.com
