The Reggie Bar is returning more than 40 years after it was discontinued.
The chocolate, caramel and peanut candy bar came out in 1978, the year after Reggie Jackson became Mr. October. The New York Yankees debuted the candy at their home opener where Jackson hit a homer, and fans threw the bars onto the field in celebration.
The candy was discontinued in 1981 but is making a comeback and can be found in New Hyde Park, NY. Bobb Howard’s General Store & Auto Repair shop now carries the iconic confection.
