Catcher's miscue allows runner to score from second, then he doesn't run out final out of game.
ST. PETERSBURG -- A dugout conversation between Yankees right-hander Luis Severino and catcher Gary Sanchez got heated on Monday night at Tropicana Field after a passed ball charged to Sanchez allowed Jake Bauers to score from second base, giving the Rays an early 1-0 lead.
Sanchez then failed to run out a ground ball on the final play of the game, securing a 7-6 Rays victory.
