Hey PRY... Well, he is taking a lot of stock in his young pitchers at present time. I think it's just a case of Cashman misjudging what Grisham would do with his qualifying offer. Even if it was a long shot that Grisham would accept, the compensatory draft (4th round) pick wasn't worth the long shot risk.

He's got a lot of torque in his swing (like Donnie Baseball) so it wouldn't shock me if his back becomes a problem going forward.
