The Yankees signed right-hander Jhoulys Chacin to a minor league contract Wednesday.
The 33-year-old spent last season with the Braves, but made just two appearances in the majors.
He last had success in 2018 in Milwaukee, when he went 15-8 with a 3.50 ERA in 35 starts. Chacin was the Opening Day starter for the Brewers in 2019, but struggled throughout the year and dealt with injuries before being designated for assignment later in the season.
