Yeah, I know Hitter, it’s just disheartening when you play against teams with a lot less talent than you have and you get manhandled they way Toronto and Tampa Bay do to us. Granted you get the rare blowouts, but on a regular basis we should be able to play .500 ball against those two teams. I realize missing Severino and Paxton has hurt our rotation, but we have enough professional hitters that should be able to adjust to different situations and not just rely on the long ball. When you see a lefty batter up and the third baseman is playing shortstop, you should be able to drop a bunt down third base and get a hit to get things started, regardless of who you are. Sometimes these guys forget the basics and everyone is up there trying to yank it out of the park regardless of the situation. That’s what pisses me off. The other teams try to go the other way constantly, but not us!
