Michael Kay clarified this which I didn't realize. Flying out of Canada you have to test and if it's positive you have to quarantine for 10 days in Canada, but not when you drive. To get around the test/quarantine, MLB teams including the Jays take a 3 hour bus trip to Buffalo, NY to fly out of there. Bad enough for visiting teams who might make the trip 2 or 3 times but imagine the Jays doing for every road trip - so maybe that will take a toll on the players.
