I hear what you’re saying, but it’s frustrating to see a team like the Rangers get ahold of two premier shortstops like Seager and Semien while we still have a gap there. I mean if they were able to bring up Vasquez and he performed well defensively, why don’t they bring up Volpe or Perera and see what they can do on this level? Sometimes they keep their young players down in the minors for so long, that by the time they come up, their best years have been spent in the minors, and they’re in their mid to late twenties and we only get a few good years out of them. Some other teams bring their kids up and tell ‘em “ okay, show us what you can do” while we play the waiting game. Whatever happened to bringing up a kid 21 - 22 and letting him play?
