This has got to be a most frustrating off season for Yankee fans. Right after the World Series, all we heard was that Cashman was going to right this ship by getting the players we needed to shore up the glaring holes at shortstop, first base, center field and starting pitching. So far all we’ve seen is him with his hands in his deep pockets while our competitors are busy signing free agents left and right. Of the top shortstops Seager, Semien, Baez, Correa(don’t want him anyway), at this point we’ll end up with someone like Andrelton Simmons. So far it’s been a very frustrating winter. I wish Cashman would stop scaling the sides of buildings and get his a$$ to the bargaining table like the rest of the GM’s!
