The Yankees have decided not to renew the contract of hitting coach Marcus Thames. Our first view of Marcus was his first ab hitting a home run of Randy Johnson's FB. He was hired as the batting coach in 2018 - interesting to see if this will change the perception that it's ok to strike out - oh wait that was the idea of the analytics guys. How many other coaches will be replaced? The next few weeks will tell us. What changes will the roster see? Kluber, Heaney, Gardner have contracts that are up. A decision on Sanchez & Judge will have to be made - Judge is under control for another season. If not for the nearing CBA negotiations, it might be an exciting Hot Stove season.
