A master of the knuckler, Phil Niekro has passed away at age 81. Phil pitched into his 40's and did a stint with the Braves (20) and 4 with the Yankees. He was inducted into Cooperstown in '97. He pitched during the era when knuckleballers were rare and was often suspected of doctoring the ball. RIP Knucksie..
