Fall baseball returns to the Bronx - a WC game but playoff baseball just the same. For the Yankees it's a huge statement of how good and how fast this team gelled into a cohesive group - having fun and supporting each along the way. Sadly unless we win, the media will say it was a nothing season with the trade deadline deals to bolster the roster with DRob, Kahnle, Toddler, Sonny Gray. A lot will depend on Luis Severino being able to control those butterflies in his first ever post season appearance at any level against a veteran in Santana. The Twinkies will put it all on the table like the gambler who nothing to lose and everything to gain - just maybe that niggling memory of never winning vs. the Yankees in post season will play to our advantage OR will the odds be against us.
