This comes as no surprise, hints were made throughout the game yesterday & in Joe's post game presser. Matt Holliday was placed on the DL with a tweaked back - wonder just how long it really was bothering him. Garrett Cooper was called up from S/WB. Should we speculate on the reason - will Romine see more games behind the plate so not an option to spell Headley at 1st? giving Sanchez more DH abs and taking him from behind the plate while he works with Tony Pena on those misplaced skills we saw last year. just a thought.
