You almost have to feel bad for Michael Pineda; this is the walk year so he was working to snare a multimil/year deal, His performance was like a roller coaster on Coney Island - highs when his nastiness was on target and bottom out when he had no idea where his control was. Going into Beantown for 4 games, it was announced that he had suffered a tear in the UC of his right arm. Second opinion today and surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Though I don't expect to see Big Mike back in pinstripes, someone will offer some sort of incentive deal when it's time, good wishes for a successful surgery and rehab.
