Remember 11 months ago when we were trading Chap to the Cubs with the expectation that he would return as a FA- then in November wondering if the Cubs had over used him, would he be worth a huge contract to comeback to the Bronx. We might be finding out the answer - he wasn't sharp prior to his injury though the velocity was still topping 100. His game hasn't been right since - so the obvious question -Is he trying to work through/hiding something from the team? Pineda pitched 8 innings before telling the trainers there was a problem with his arm. Top that with Torryes isn't the same player he was last year - two errors cost big time last night - that's important because we can't score 10 or more runs every game. Castro may be back at 2nd this afternoon but it will probably be Tyler Wade who gets sent down.
