I thought it was a great deal when it first happened... The price tag (in players) wasn't a lot, and he was the reigning NL MVP in the beginning of his prime. That's all I saw in highlights from August of 2017 was Stanton's daily home run display.

Maybe New York isn't the place for him, but it's too late now... He's here to stay.
