I was willing to bring him back; in 2019 he was a dominating pitcher with so much potential but made a mistake which no one has revealed exactly what took place. Over the winter he posted on Instagram that it was over and rescinded that the next day; yesterday he posted a similiar statement before deleting all previous posts. Maybe he needs to discuss his problems with a therapist and get his personal life straightened out before moving forward with a MLB career. There is enough adversity during a normal season and with COVID still rampant, 2021 is not going to be normal at least in the beginning. Not sure if something is getting lost in translation for him but the first concern is the mental & physical health of all players not something that can create drama. IF he has it together, I have no problem with Germain finding his place in the rotation. What do you think?
